The 45 degree 160mm branch saddle creates a 45° Y-style connection for a 160mm PVC lateral pipe entering a larger drainage main. This 200-400mm main pipe saddle fits compatible smooth-wall pipes measuring 200–400mm outside diameter. The VIPSeal VYS150 lateral saddle is designed for suitable underground drainage connections. The assembly combines a flexible PVC body with an EPDM rubber sealing gasket and grade 304 stainless steel securing components. As a result, installers can introduce a suitable branch connection without replacing an entire section of the main drainage pipe.

Choosing the Correct Drainage Saddle

First, measure the outside diameter of the main drainage pipe. It must fall within the specified 200–400mm range. Next, confirm that your lateral pipe has a 160mm outside diameter and that the host pipe has a suitable smooth external surface. The 45 degree 160mm branch saddle is intended for compatible smooth-wall drainage pipes. However, ribbed, corrugated and twinwall pipes require a fitting designed for their external profile.

160mm PVC Lateral Connection at 45 Degrees

The angled saddle creates a branch inlet into the larger main pipe. Its EPDM gasket provides the sealing interface, while stainless steel components secure the assembly around the host pipe.
