This Kayflow
double socket coupler joins two plain-ended sections of 110mm underground drainage pipe. The push-fit sockets contain fixed rubber seals, while the central stop helps position both pipes correctly. Product code BUG10. Use this fitting when installing or extending a standard 110mm drainage run. It creates a secure connection without solvent cement. Therefore, installers can complete the joint quickly with suitable drainage lubricant and correctly prepared pipe ends.

Where Can You Use a Double Coupler?
Use this fitting to connect two plain-ended pipes in a new or extended underground drainage system. For example, it can join two cut pipe sections or connect a plain-ended pipe to a compatible plain-ended fitting. The internal central stop provides a clear insertion point for each pipe. As a result, it helps keep the coupler centred across the completed joint. However, the stop prevents the fitting from sliding fully along the pipe. If you need to replace a damaged section within a fixed drainage run, use a slip coupler instead. The Kayflow BUG12 slip coupler has no central stop, so it can slide along the pipe during a repair.
Installing the Double Coupler
First, cut the pipe square and remove any sharp edges. Next, chamfer the pipe end to help it pass through the rubber seal. Also, clean the socket and check that each sealing ring remains correctly seated. Apply a suitable drainage lubricant to the pipe ends. Then push each pipe into the coupler towards the central stop. Follow the system manufacturer’s installation guidance and allow for pipe movement where required. Finally, install the completed drainage run with the correct bedding, gradient and backfill.
