The Seldek aluminium roof flashing from DEKS provides a weatherproof finish around suitable pipes passing through tile and slate roofs. This 50-170mm roof flashing features a flexible black EPDM cone attached to a malleable aluminium base. The aluminium roof pipe flashing is designed for roof pitches from 0° to 45°. The flashing accommodates pipe outside diameters from 50mm to 170mm. Its EPDM cone can be trimmed on site to suit the measured pipe diameter, providing a close-fitting seal around a suitable roof penetration.

Choosing the Correct Aluminium Roof Pipe Flashing

Measure the outside diameter of the pipe where it passes through the roof. This fitting is intended for pipes measuring between 50mm and 170mm externally. Nominal pipe size alone may not indicate the actual outside diameter. The Seldek aluminium roof flashing is suitable for compatible pipe penetrations on roof pitches up to 45°. Check the pipe temperature, roof construction and installation requirements before selecting a flashing, particularly where flues are involved.

Installing Seldek Roof Flashing

Trim the black EPDM cone to the appropriate marked diameter and fit it around the pipe. Dress the aluminium base into the surrounding tiles or slates to form the roof weathering detail. Follow the DEKS installation instructions for the roof covering and penetration arrangement. Ensure the flashing is correctly integrated with the roof’s weatherproofing system.
