Polydrain LFCDG1000 Galvanised Channel Drain
The
Polydrain LFCDG1000 galvanised channel drain forms part of Polydrain’s current 50mm Low Flow drainage range. The shallow profile provides a practical drainage solution where a deeper channel system may be difficult to install. 1m Galvanised Channel Drain
This
1m galvanised channel drain is supplied as a 1000mm channel section. Multiple lengths can be connected together to create longer drainage runs where required. The channel can also be cut to suit the installation, allowing shorter sections to be formed where the available space does not suit a full 1 metre length.
Low Flow Channel Drain Galvanised Grate
The
Low Flow channel drain galvanised model uses a clip-down galvanised heelguard grate. This provides a different appearance and finish from the standard black-grate Low Flow channel while retaining the same compact drainage format. The grate should remain correctly seated and secured throughout installation so that the finished channel provides a neat and consistent surface.
A15 Channel Drain
The
A15 channel drain system is load tested to A15 and is intended for suitable light-duty drainage applications. Typical installations can include patios, pathways and other appropriate pedestrian or domestic surface-water drainage areas. The complete channel, grate, bedding and surrounding surface should always be installed for the expected loading conditions.
50mm Channel Drainage
The compact
50mm channel drainage profile measures 50mm in overall height, making the Low Flow range especially useful where installation depth is limited. The channel measures 131mm across and 1000mm in length, providing a practical balance between shallow construction and useful surface water collection capacity.
Built-In 90 Degree Corner Connection
Polydrain incorporates 90° corner connection slots directly into the Low Flow channel body. This allows compatible corners and directional changes to be created without requiring a separate quad box for suitable layouts. Plan the corner location before bedding the channel so the joining sections remain correctly aligned and supported.
Heelguard Galvanised Grate
The galvanised grate uses a heelguard design intended to provide a more pedestrian-friendly surface than larger-open grating styles. This makes the channel particularly suited to suitable paved and pedestrian locations where people may regularly walk across the drainage run.

Installing the Low Flow Channel Drain
Establish the required drainage route, finished surface level and outlet position before installation. Prepare a suitable supporting base and position the channel so that the grate will finish at the required surface level. Connect additional channel lengths where necessary and check that the complete drainage run remains correctly aligned. Where the channel needs to be shortened, cut it cleanly to the required length and remove any rough or damaged edges before completing the installation.
