320mm manhole inspection chamber riser is installed above the compatible chamber base to increase the height of the inspection chamber. Additional compatible risers can be used where required, subject to Kayflow’s maximum permitted depth for the complete chamber assembly. Kayflow states that its 320mm inspection chambers can be installed to a maximum depth of 600mm. The chamber system uses 110mm drainage connections and is designed to provide accessible inspection points within underground drainage installations.
Kayflow UG1002 Riser
The
Kayflow UG1002 riser is the genuine single-unit manufacturer reference for the 320mm chamber riser. Kayflow separately lists BUG1002 as the corresponding bulk product code. For an individual WooCommerce product, UG1002 should therefore be used as the genuine manufacturer part number even where Speedy Plastics retains BUG1002 as its internal stock SKU. Kayflow’s current product information lists UG1002 with a pack quantity of one and BUG1002 with a manufacturer bulk quantity of 99.
320mm Chamber Raising Piece
The
320mm chamber raising piece allows installers to adjust the finished height of a compatible inspection chamber rather than relying on the height of the chamber base alone. This is particularly useful where the chamber cover needs to finish closer to the surrounding ground or surface level. The required number of risers should be determined from the overall installation depth while remaining within the manufacturer’s stated maximum chamber depth. The
320mm chamber raising piece is supplied as the riser component only. The chamber base, sealing component and final cover arrangement are separate unless specifically stated otherwise.
Inspection Chamber Height Extension
Used as an
inspection chamber height extension, the UG1002 sits between the chamber base and the final cover arrangement. This modular approach means the chamber can be built to a suitable level for the individual underground drainage installation. When more than one
inspection chamber height extension is required, compatible risers can be joined together in accordance with Kayflow’s installation guidance and maximum depth requirements.
Improved Kayflow 320mm Riser Design
Kayflow has developed an improved version of its 320mm riser system following installer and customer feedback. The manufacturer states that the updated design is more rigid and robust than the previous version and incorporates larger reinforcing ribs to provide additional strength and help create a more secure installation. Kayflow also states that the redesigned riser system incorporates a rubber sealing component which should be installed to achieve the intended performance. The compatible UG108 riser sealing ring is available separately within the 320mm chamber range.
110mm Underground Drainage Chamber Riser
The UG1002 forms part of a
110mm underground drainage chamber riser system. Although the riser itself does not connect directly to the underground drainage pipe, it is designed for the Kayflow 320mm chamber system whose base uses 110mm drainage sockets throughout. The
110mm underground drainage chamber riser works alongside the UG1004 chamber base, UG108 sealing ring and compatible cover options to create an accessible inspection chamber over the underground drainage system.

Installing a 320mm Manhole Inspection Chamber Riser
Before fitting the
320mm manhole inspection chamber riser, make sure the compatible chamber components, jointing surfaces and sealing components are clean and correctly positioned. Kayflow’s current 320mm chamber guidance states that silicone sealant should be used when fitting the first riser to the manhole base and again for subsequent riser-to-riser joints. The manufacturer’s installation requirements and relevant local building practices should always be followed. The completed chamber must remain within Kayflow’s stated maximum installation depth of 600mm.
