The
FloPlast D530 back inlet bottle gully is a 110mm underground drainage fitting with a rectangular grid and removable back inlet connection. This

FloPlast D530 Back Inlet Bottle Gully
The
FloPlast D530 back inlet bottle gully combines a trapped gully body with a rectangular top and dedicated back inlet connection. The back inlet is supplied with a removable socket plug. Where the additional inlet is required, the plug can be removed without drilling the gully body, providing a straightforward connection point for compatible drainage or waste arrangements.

Rectangular Grid Bottle Gully
The
rectangular grid bottle gully provides a broad inlet area for collecting surface water while helping to prevent larger debris from entering the drainage system. The rectangular top makes the D530 particularly useful where the gully is being installed beside paving, walls, rainwater downpipes or external waste pipe outlets.
Underground Drainage Bottle Gully
An
underground drainage bottle gully provides a trapped connection between surface-level drainage or suitable external waste discharge and the underground drainage system. The retained water within the trap helps prevent foul air from the below-ground drainage system passing back through the gully opening. The D530 forms part of FloPlast’s 110mm underground drainage range and is suitable for compatible gravity drainage installations.
Roddable Bottle Gully
The D530 is designed as a
roddable bottle gully. FloPlast incorporates a sealed internal dip tube that can be removed when access is required for cleaning or rodding. After removing the grid, the dip tube can be released to provide access into the gully and connected drainage pipework. This makes routine maintenance considerably easier if leaves, silt or other debris collects within the trap.
Back Inlet Connection
The rear inlet provides an additional connection point for suitable drainage arrangements. FloPlast supplies this inlet sealed with a removable socket plug, so there is no need to drill an additional hole through the gully body. Only remove the socket plug when the back inlet is required. Any connected pipework should be correctly aligned and supported before completing the surrounding ground or paving.

Removable Dip Tube for Cleaning
Leaves, silt and other debris can collect inside a bottle gully over time. The removable dip tube allows the trapped section of the gully to be opened for cleaning and provides improved access to the connected drainage pipework. Regularly inspect and clean the grid and gully to help maintain unrestricted water flow.
FloPlast D505 Gully Riser Compatibility
Where additional installation depth is required, FloPlast specifies the D505 riser for compatible bottle gullies. One riser can increase the available invert depth by up to approximately 200mm. Always establish the finished ground level and pipe invert before installation so the gully and any required riser can be positioned correctly.
Installing the 110mm Bottle Gully
Plan the gully location and connected underground drainage route before excavation. The gully should be correctly supported and positioned so the finished grid remains accessible for future inspection and cleaning. Ensure the 110mm push-fit joints are clean and correctly assembled. Suitable drainage lubricant can be used on ring-seal joints where required. Once installed, check the gully, back inlet and underground drainage connections before completing the surrounding paving or backfill.
